Meet Katlyn

FOUNDER

Katlyn started her entrepreneurial journey in 2012, with a part-time business offering bookkeeping services to small businesses. In 2017, it became a full-time adventure, then in 2021 it grew into Katlyn Alyssa Inc. 

On the surface, Katlyn is a business owner, entrepreneur, wife, mom and animal lover. But below the service, you will quickly see a woman who wants to help business owners take back their time, invest in themselves and achieve their dreams.  Katlyn realized that her dreams of being an entrepreneur and business owner came from the dream of flexibility and more time with those she loved.  After losing her mom at the age of 14, she recognized how as humans we traditionally spend more time at work each week than with our families. Her passion is helping businesses recognize their zone of genius, outsource the tasks that don’t align with their strengths and achieve their version of success.

Meet Justin

Bookkeeper

A self-professed lifelong student, Justin began his career in the tourism industry, where he had the opportunity to learn a variety of things from even better people. After many years giving tours and providing customer service, his passion for numbers pulled him into a new opportunity: Bookkeeping. Since making the jump in 2021, Justin has already had the opportunity to work with clients in a wide range of fields. With a laid-back personality and joking demeanor, he enjoys helping local businesses not have to deal with the boring stuff.

In his personal life, nothing means more to Just than his family (pets included!). He is a proud Newfoundlander and an admitted nerd. When he's not working, you can catch him playing video games, binging horror movies, attending live theatre, or catching up on much needed sleep!

Meet Nicole

Bookkeeper

Nicole grew up in Napanee, Ontario where she still resides with her husband and three children.  Prior to starting a family she attended McMaster University and graduated with a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Sciences degree in 2012. For nine years Nicole practiced as an MRT at Napanee and area hospitals. 

After welcoming her second daughter in 2021 she decided to take a break from healthcare and focus her time and energy on what matters; family. Nicole took a leap into bookkeeping when was offered a position with Katlyn Alyssa Inc. 

Since then she has been advancing in her skills mostly serving clients in the contracting and automotive repair field. Nicole works efficiently at managing/documenting/recording clients expenses, reconciling accounts and most importantly caring for our clients business. When Nicole isn't working she is spending time with friends and family, maintaining her family property where you will find plenty of chickens and ducks.

Meet Chris

Bookkeeper

Growing up in Edmonton, Alberta, Christine found herself drawn to the rhythm and order of office life early on. At just 20, she began working in an office environment where she learned the ins and outs of bookkeeping through real, hands-on experience. Over the years, she discovered that while numbers tell a story, it’s the people behind those numbers that truly inspire her work.

Although Christine graduated from NAIT with a diploma in photography—and still appreciates a perfectly composed shot—her heart has always been with helping business owners find clarity and confidence in their finances. She’s worked with a wide range of industries, including franchises, construction, non-profits, small businesses, and even globally recognized companies. What she loves most is learning how each unique business operates and finding ways to make their financial processes run smoother.

Outside of the office, Christine is a proud mom of two young adults who are both university students and high-level hockey goaltenders. When she’s not cheering them on from the stands, you’ll find her curled up with a good book, camping under the stars, or catching up with friends and family.

For Christine, bookkeeping isn’t just about balancing numbers—it’s about supporting the people who bring businesses to life.
